The calculator, comparison, and guides do not need personal information. This notice describes the separate contact form that remains unavailable until exact recipients, purposes, retention, and legal text are approved.
Categories collected when enabled
- Identifiers: first and last name, email address, phone number, submission identifier, and consent identifiers.
- Hosting preferences: game, concurrent-player band, timing, budget band, region, mod-support need, and new-server or migration status.
- Request evidence: network address, browser user agent, Global Privacy Control signal, allowed attribution values, observed dwell time, and server-authoritative consent snapshot.
Purposes
When the visitor expressly agrees, HostForge uses the information to submit a hosting-match request to the exact named recipients shown beside the unchecked consent box, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, honor suppression and privacy choices, document consent, and operate or secure the service.
Sale, sharing, and recipients
HostForge does not send a contact request to an unnamed “marketing partner.” If hosted-lead intake opens, the exact named recipients and contact channels appear in the consent disclosure. A standard hosting affiliate click is separate and carries no name, email, or phone from the form.
Your choices
Do not check the consent box if you do not want a contact request. You can still use every planning tool. Global Privacy Control is forwarded when observed. See Privacy choices or email [email protected].
